Why This Website?

There are so many pages about whisky, so much information you can find everywhere around, you just don’t need more. I do agree with that. On the other hand, there’s never enough stuff to read on your favourite subject.
So, why?
Because why not?

I really like my whisky. I read a lot about it. It’s fun to read about something you like and expand your knowledge on the topic. I’m not an expert. Maybe I will be one day.

This blog is for me. I always wanted to have one like this. And it's good to chase your dreams. 

This site is for you and me. Down-to-earth guys and girls who like to drink whisky because of its taste, smell and whatever else it could be. You will find my very personal opinions here, and I can assure you they won’t be too sophisticated, as too much is never too good. I will share my thoughts with you hoping you’ll like them and find them helpful and funny.
I like my whisky. I know you like it too.

Let’s enjoy it in a simple, straightforward way.

Let’s celebrate it.

Johnnie Walker in general is the best-selling Scotch brand in the world, and the bottle of the Red Label is one of the most recognisable spirit bottles on the planet. I don’t remember the first time I saw it. Probably a very long time ago and, for sure, in an American film. Johnnie Walker Red Label Believe me or not but I have never tried Red Label before. The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve

They say it’s one of the most popular brands on the planet. First in the US, beating Glenfiddich, but globally second (Glenfiddich is numero uno). Well, I simply had to start my romance with Glenlivet from the very bottom - and here it is, The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve, or so-called “the blue one”. Price of The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve It was £22 on Amazon, a regular price, not bad at all. The retail price is much higher than this, usually around £40. What’s in a box? I bought a trio: Founder’s Reserve, 12 Years Old and Caribbean Reserve. Put them all together, and you know what the world of whisky is about. The look is essential. All of them are boxed. Blue, Green, Orange... They look lovely standing next to each other, and you know they are siblings. Same bottle, same label, same box. Just imagine getting a trio like this as a Christmas present! Johnnie Walker Black Label

Loved and respected 12 years old blended Scotch. Born in 1909. Highly recognisable. The exceptional mixture of many whiskies in the iconic bottle. I remember the day I put all my Johnnie Walker bottles together on the table. They looked great. I was sitting there, looking at them and thinking, “Gosh, I can’t even imagine how tasty they will be”. It’s great to have a child’s mind, isn’t it? The Four Bottles of Johnnie Walker I bought four bottles of Johnnie Walker from Amazon. It was right at the beginning of my whisky adventure. The Black one sat really nicely amongst them, looking good next to The Red one, being very proud of its stylish box and slightly bigger bottle, but also being a little stressed by The Double Black one standing next to it.
